After a difficult season that halted my creative practice, I was asked to participate in a benefit concert. Despite not being a musician, I decided to donate a painting that I would finish live on stage alongside the orchestra and to be auctioned off for charity. The experience of sharing the stage with the orchestra and feeling the vibrations of the music as I painted lit a spark in me. This experience inspired more playful and vibrant work that conveys a sense of wonder, liveliness, and love.
