After a difficult season that drained my spirit and halted my creative practice, I was asked to participate in a benefit concert. Despite not being a musician, I decided to donate a painting that I would finish live on stage alongside the orchestra and then auction off. The experience of sharing the stage with the orchestra and feeling the vibrations of the music as I painted lit a spark in me, inspiring more playful and vibrant work that conveys a sense of wonder, liveliness, and love.
